For half the evening
out in the yellow-orange storm
she holds a clock for the wind
to wrap itself around
while half a moon rises.
In half shadow she holds
a demon in a bottle
and she has her spell.
At her feet is damp ground
and earth shakes a little.
Half a dog
just sits there.
